Aryssa Shultz is a senior at the University of Pittsburgh double-majoring in Anthropology and Gender, Sexuality, and Women’s Studies, with a minor in Nonfiction Writing. They have been writing their entire life, and consider writing their predominant means of self-expression. Although Creative Nonfiction is their main genre, they have also written in the forms of poetry, fiction, and journalistic nonfiction. Their poetry can be found on the Philosophical Idiot‘s website, as well as in the first issue of Honey Bee Review Magazine. They have also been published in the Bulletin newspaper. After they graduate, Aryssa plans for a career in publishing, and will write a mixed-genre book of their own.
