Jose Araguz
Pretty Owl Poetry is pleased to announce the third installment of its online reading series, featuring poets and prose writers who’ve been published in the journal.
This month, we hung out with Jose Araguz, who discussed his poem/flash fiction piece “Stream.”
Jose Angel Araguz is a 2014 Canto Mundo fellow. He has had poems recently in Rattle, RHINO, Hanging Loose and Poet Lore as well as forthcoming flash fiction in NANO Fiction. He is presently pursuing a Ph.D. in Creative Writing at the University of Cincinnati. He runs the poetry blog: The Friday Influence.
In this Google Hangout on Air, Jose talks about form, why he pursued a Ph.D. in Creative Writing, his blog and signs of the Zodiac.
Thanks again, Jose, for “hanging” with us! And stay tuned for the next online reading.
