Em is a poet and an MFA candidate at the University of Texas at El Paso, where they also teach composition classes. Their work has appeared in AZE Journal, Every Day Fiction, and Breedlove. When they’re not writing or teaching, they work as a chicken brood caretaker in rural Kentucky.
