Kayla Romanelli is a rising senior at the University of Pittsburgh, where she is majoring in both Fiction Writing and Public and Professional Writing. She also is a writer for Aiken House and an editor at The Pitt News. In 2016, she was awarded a Scholastic Gold Medal in Fiction and was recently nominated for the 2019 Rowan Award for Undergraduate Fiction. Besides being a writer, she is also a pizza connoisseur and a Disney Parks aficionado.
