Shuffle your deck as you imagine you would shuffle a deck of cards you created yourself.

Draw a single card. Do not reach for any resources to understand this card—any guidebooks you may have, the Internet, friends, etc. Sit with the imagery of the card, the name, any numbers associated, and any other defining details.

Using only the card in front of you and the knowledge you already possess, write a poem that describes the significance of the card. Write a new origin for it. What does the card mean to you? What is the poem to the card? To what question is this card the answer? What does it urge you to do? What kind of plant might grow from this seed?
